Landfill Gas Generator

This Irwin-built Gas-to-Energy facility at a southern California landfill uses methane from landfill waste and repurposes it as an energy source to produce up to 11.4 MW (net) of electricity. Irwin provided engineering, procurement, direct labor and general contracting services for the new facility which consists of three Solar Mercury 50 gas-turbine generators and all associated equipment, landfill gas conditioning and compressing systems and a maintenance and control building.
